Workouts? What workouts?

If you've noticed my exercise routines (and subsequent muscle pain) have been missing lately, there's a good reason...I've been sick with one of those lingering nasty colds which refuse to let you breathe.

I've got to admit it, I'm really missing my workouts and the energy and clarity they bring to my days -- with luck, I'll be back swimming and doing Zumba on Monday.

And then of course, there's Fern... :-)

One thing I've noticed on my raw food journey is that eating raw is harder for me (usually pretty easy) when I'm not feeling well -- with the cold, I've been craving warm/hot foods and have been enjoying tons of tea.

Maybe you shouldn't push yourself to go raw, but gradually increase the amount of raw food you eat... Your cravings for hot foods in cold weather are completely normal and — since your diet should ultimately add to your purpose in life rather than be an obstacle — treating them with willpower can be counter-productive.
